2018
In 2018, to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War, the Society mounted an exhibition entitled South Ainsty at War. This was displayed at Copmanthorpe Library throughout November 2018 and also at Dringhouses Library early in 2019. The exhibition covered both world wars, as we have quite a lot of information relating to the Second World War, including Acaster Airfield.
